Candace Raczkowski, PT, DPT
Dr. Raczkowski (Dr. Raz) is the Director of Physical Therapy for The Center for Total Back Care. She brings her passion to help improve the lives of her patients and her broad range of experience helps her meet each patient’s individual needs.
She attended Arizona State University to study the mechanics of body movements and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2008. She went on to study physical therapy at A.T. Still University, earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2012.
Dr. Raz has a wide range of clinical experience including in-patient rehabilitation, work-related injuries, acute injuries, chronic pain, and pre and post-operative rehabilitation. She uses a combination of movements/exercises, and hands on techniques such as joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and myofascial release to strengthen, rehabilitate, and aid in pain relief based on the individual needs of each patient. She has special interests in extremity and spinal treatment and rehabilitation, vestibular treatment and rehabilitation and is certified in dry needling. She has practiced in various settings of physical therapy where she has used her skills and experience to provide rehabilitation for a variety of conditions and enjoys the various aspects of the field.
In her free time, she enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with her husband and three dogs.
